I, too, was at Smith Creek today, only very early. Saw most of the previously 
mentioned species but saw a Hermit Warbler instead of MacGillivray's upstream 
from the bridge. I headed on toward San Antonio Valley. Just before entering 
the actual valley, at maybe one half mile past the 14 mile marker, I saw a 
Lewis's Woodpecker flying and a Sage Sparrow carrying nesting material. I turned 
down Del Puerto Canyon, so that was all for the county birding.
