Most of us did see the following though: Golden Eagle American Kestrel Turkey Vulture Horned Lark Western Meadowlark Savannah Sparrow Grasshopper Sparrow (many calling, some would fly to the tops of fenceposts for decent scope views) Red-tailed Hawk Western Bluebird Yellow-billed Magpie Sharp-shinned Hawk Common Raven On the way up the road I also saw Western Kingbirds and California Quail.
