Also of note was a CALIFORNIA THRASHER, DOWNY WOODPECKER, WHITE BREASTED NUTHATCH, and GREAT BLUE HERON. I still have a lone HERMIT THRUSH visiting my yard each morning, as well as a SPOTTED TOWHEE. There are more than a few BEWICKS WRENS and JUNCOS in and around my backyard. I suspect nesting somewhere, although I haven't been able to locate any nests. Have lots and lots of LESSER GOLDFINCHES coming to my niger feeders, along with a few AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES.
