SB Birders-

I left work a bit early today and drove to Sierra Rd summit. The Lapland 
Longspur was waiting on the barbed wire fence about 100 feet up the hill across 
from the corral. This was at 6:20pm and it was frigid up there. It then flew to 
near the top of the hill, perched, then disappeared. Coming down (toward Ed 
Levin Park) I stopped to check a small pond, and instead had 2 male and 1 female 
Lawrence's Goldfinches on the roadside fence 25 feet in front of the car, 
across from 5845 (?, not sure of the name of the road here).
