   Hi SB Birders-
   I checked Sierra Rd summit before work today. Light rain and endless
   no-parking signs hindered the effort. Did see one Grasshopper Sparrow
   on a post at the summit - the best look at one in the county so far.
   Also one Horned Lark , and 4 or 5 Western Kingbirds. One White-tailed
   kite was hovering, but there was unidentied falcon-like raptor moving
   away that would have required pointing the binocs straight into the
   rain, so I didn't.
