Some of the other birds noted here include ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER, BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK, BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER, CALIFORNIA THRASHER, and ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER. We then had a nice view of a CASSIN'S VIREO, carrying nesting material, on the north side of Los Gatos Creek, at the bottom of Wright Station Rd. The only other birds of note here were WARBLING VIREO, WILSON'S WARBLER, and PACIFIC-SLOPE FLYCATCHER. Later on Morrill Rd we had more Cassin's Vireo, HOUSE WREN, more Wilson's Warbler (several close-in views of males), Pacific-slope Flycatcher, BAND-TAILED PIGEONS and PURPLE FINCH (doing two different songs; the normal rolling warble and the descending call reminiscent of that of the Canyon Wren).
