	Bill Ayers called me to report that shortly before 10 AM a Pileated
Woodpecker flew over the Greenhouse apartment complex on San Antonio Road.
It was flying about rooftop level and cackling loudly as it went, "headed
in my direction" (which is the east end of Louis Road).
	Although Bill doesn't have internet access, he is a long-time and very
reliable birder.  He said he could hardly believe his eyes, and regrets
that his look was too brief to determine the sex.
