I stopped on/off my way home tonight, curious to see if the Bonaparte
gulls roost at CCFS. Apparently not, which would also be borne out by
their absence at 8AM this morning when some birders arrived. I checked
the waterbird pond as well.

There were some red/orange legged birds, however, mucking in the muck
together: Northern Shoveler, Black-necked Stilt and 2-3 Semipalmated
Plovers.

A Peregrine Falcon watched from a tree as I drove out.

This morning a bright red fox ran across the road, and tonight a cat
-- which I think was a Bobcat, but perhaps a feral cat.
