Folks:

This morning, 4/3/2004, walked around areas around the lower part of 
Stevens Creek Park.  At the reservoir I saw a GREEN HERON in flight and the 
usual ducks.  At the Villa Maria Picnic Area I found a calling ASH-THROATED 
FLYCATCHER.  After, I walked down to the Chestnut Picnic area, which was a 
wonderland of cottonwood seeds.  I ran into Peggy Don in this magical place 
and shortly after we heard the "pit-pit-pit" of an OLIVE-SIDED 
FLYCATCHER.  After a bit of searching we found this flycatcher near the top 
of a sycamore.  About that time a birding group showed up and mentioned 
that had seen another Olive-sided lower down the creek.
