You can get to them and other pertinent reference images, rarities, and oddities by going to this link My site is still incubating so there's no navigation, save for what I've put into the pages. So, you'll have to use the Back and Forward buttons on your web browser to move around. For Monterey Bay Birders, I've put up an image taken by Gary Nielsen at Carmel River of a sandpiper lacking in almost all of its plumage pigmentation. The legs are not black, as I suspect they should be, but the eyes are not pink. So, I guess this is one of those contradictions in terms, "partially albino" (on the list with "almost pregnant" and "military intelligence", but I digress...). Follow the "Oddities" link. I also put up a few rare bird images that I've captured, Glossy Ibis in Alviso, Sedge Wren in Half Moon Bay, and Ruff in Alviso. I'll be adding more when I have more time (and while I still have web space!). Follow the "Rarities" link. Along with the Alviso Golden-Plover images, I've uploaded images of another "golden" plover, as well as some reference images of Pacific and American Golden-Plovers. I've provided links to images on Alvaro Jaramillo's and Tom Grey's websites for their images pertinent to this discussion. Follow the "Studies" link. I hope you enjoy the site. If you're interested in BirdNUTZ fieldtrips, I have to apologize for not updating my trip schedule. It's coming very soon! Thanks for your patience!
