Folks:

This morning, 9/27/2003, I walked the west side of Stevens Creek from La 
Avenida to Crittenden and returned via the east side.  Roland Kenner and 
Pat Kenny were doing much the same thing.  The Empid migration seemed past 
and I did not see a one.  Two ORANGE-CROWNED and three YELLOW WARBLERS was 
about it for migrants.  A MERLIN dive-bombing a juv. Black-crowned Night 
Heron was my first of the season.
