We birded the area for a bit over two hours beginning at 10:00 A.M. We began and ended with the RUFF in the pond on the right side of the road to the EEC. Hiking northwest along the railroad tracks from the EEC entrance, we found the problematic Golden-Plover resting on a small island in the middle of the last pond on the left before reaching the main line. It alternately snoozed and walked about and then eventually flew further back into the marsh where we continued to observe it. On our walk back we saw a Say's Phoebe fly-catching along the left side of the tracks. The Stilt Sandpiper was foraging at the back of the first pond on the east side of the tracks north of the EEC entrance. We did not see the "new" Pacific Golden-Plover.
