It was there last Saturday and again Thursday. The Western Bluebirds remain as well, along with the Yellow Rumped and Yellow Warblers. The Kingfisher pair noisily inhabit the island. I can't seem to catch all five herons on the same visit, but they were seen during the week. The same birds, minus the Sandpiper and Bluebirds, were at Lake Almaden Saturday. Acorn Woodpeckers, Northern Flickers, and Killdeer were there as well.
