SBBers:

This morning, September 19, 2003, I walked north from the EEC entrance road along the railroad tracks.  When I reached the last pond before the RR tracks junction around 10 AM, I encountered Jack Cole who kindly had the AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER staked out.  We were able to compare its size to a towering Black-necked Stilt and a bulkier BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER.  Also in the area were SEMI-PALMATED PLOVERs and KILLDEER for a 4 plover day.
