Hi!
While running some errands today, I thought I'd check the Sunnyvale Recreation 
Center pond area (at Remington Avenue 2 blocks Southeast of Mathilda Ave.) for 
the Parakeets I've been searching for since I saw them first in June.  No luck 
on the Parakeets, but found 8 Mergansers. They all appear to be female and are 
probably all Commons.  The fact that 4 are about 4-6" bigger than the other 4 
could indicate that 4 are juvenile.  I put pictures on my web site, if you'd 
care to help clarify.  They are quite easy to get near.  Good birding!
