I almost never revisit the same location two days in a row,
but I know it is some times nice to be able to refind
unusual or interesting birds the next day.  So, I revisited
the same area in Vasona Park today that I visited yesterday
during the same time, between 9:30 and noon.  I refound all
but two birds, neither of which I could have mistaken:

Spotted Sandpiper
Hooded Oriole

I saw some birds today I missed yesterday:

Great Blue Heron
Green Heron
Black Crowned Night Heron
Killdeer
Red-Shouldered Hawk
Mourning Dove
Western Scrub Jay
Oak Titmouse
Chestnut-Backed Chickadee
House Finch  

And these are birds I saw yesterday and refound today:

Pied-Billed Grebe with young
Double-Crested Cormorant
Canada Goose
Mallard
American Coot with young of all ages!
Snowy Egret
Rock Dove (Feral Pigeon)
Belted Kingfisher
Nuttall's Woodpecker
Black Phoebe
American Crow
Western Bluebird
Yellow Warbler
Yellow-Rumped Warbler
Brewer's Blackbird
Lesser Goldfinch
House Sparrow

I know I'm listing some obvious birds here, but I enjoyed
the task.
