There were not too many birds about, but I did find 1 "WESTERN" FLYCATCHER, 3 WILLOW FLYCATCHERS, 5+ YELLOW WARBLERS, 1 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, a noisy HOUSE WREN, and a DARK-EYED JUNCO. Most interesting was a female or immature BLACK-CHINNED HUMMINGBIRD that provided excellent views while gnatcatching and perching in the willows just north of the clearing north of the power line crossing. Also an immature BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON, an immature GREEN HERON, and a female BELTED KINGFISHER.
