There are at least two nests that still have nestling or fledgling SNOWY EGRETS. The active nestings in one nest are well feathered but are not flying and begged incessantly when one of the parents arrived. I counted 7 juveniles off nests, plus a juvenile BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERON that is likely one of the young raised here this summer.
