Although there was a reasonable variety of shorebirds they were pretty much as expected with the possible exception of 14 LESSER YELLOWLEGS (and 1 Greater) in Crittenden Marsh. Later, I made a visit to Stevens Creek, covering the stretch from L'Avenida to Crittenden Lane. Migrants included: a single WILLOW FLYCATCHER, one 'WESTERN' FLYCATCHER, four YELLOW WARBLERS, and four WESTERN TANAGERS that were moving along the riparian rapidly and did not settle in. Later I met Roland Kenner and Pat Kenny and they told me of Mike's early morning waterthrush. There was no sign of it while I was still there.
