No interesting calls and the only "notables" were WILSON'S SNIPE, HERMIT THRUSH and a birding plumaged Al Eisner. I then went to the Sunnyvale Water Treatment Facility and scanned the larger ['West Pond"] from the hill located west of the parking lot for the Tufted Duck seen on Saturday's SCVAS field trip. I managed to find only a couple suspects which turned out to be either RING-NECKED DUCKS or Scaup. "Notables" included my first AMERICAN PIPIT of the fall [on the hillside] and a pair [male and female] of BLUE-WINGED TEAL. Had my tunnel vision on so was not really looking for much else.
