On my way home from Safeway a few minutes ago as I turned the corner to my block..I looked up and watched a magnificent hawk. It had large white window patches in the wings, no dark underwing linings like a Red-tail...it's tail looked to be broadly striped. I thought at first it was the resident Red-shouldered but this hawk but the tail was so different. Any ideas? It was flying over the Saratoga Quito Road area and went off towards Los Gatos... Thanks and good birding.... My best regards, Linda Sullivan _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
