Nothing new there either, but at least a few birds of note: an adult Peregrine Falcon on a transmission tower at the bend of the entrance road; an adult Golden Eagle perched farther east; and the Stilt Sandpiper, east of the RR tracks in the first pond north of the entrance road. I presume this is a continuing bird, now in winter plumage; it was feeding with a few Dowitchers. On the way home I checked the end of Embarcadero Way in Palo Alto, finding nothing more notable than an Orange-crowned Warbler (plus a probable second calling to it) and a Lincoln's Sparrow.
