It was quite cooperative for a few minutes, before returning to its skulking manner. I remained for about another 45 minutes, with others, but to no avail. Also present in this marsh was a WILSON'S SNIPE, a SORA, a HOUSE WREN, and an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER. A brief stop at Shoreline Park showed there to be about 500 AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS in salt pond A1.
