I scoped from the vista point at Monte Bello during the first hour after sunrise. Two PILEATED WOODPECKERS were working and calling in the upper Stevens Creek Canyon and eventually one flew out of the last trees and over into Los Trancos. I made stops opposite Horseshoe Lake where Al DeMartini had a Pinyon Jay yesterday (first county record!), Sanborn-Skyline CP, and the lower saddle on Loma Prieta Road. Mostly I saw resident and winter vistitant species, but nothing unusual. Bill _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
