On the walk back, a pair of BANK SWALLOWS landed on the railroad tracks about 30 feet in front of us. They stayed for a minute or 2, copulated and then flew northwest across the marsh. Did not find the STILT SANDPIPER though it had been seen in the first pond to the right of the tracks earlier in the morning. Also saw a juvenile BANK SWALLOW on the wires near the SFBBO in Alviso. Yesterday, 2 VAUX'S SWIFTS were twinkling high overhead at the Campbell Percolation Ponds and a SPOTTED SANDPIPER was in the Los Gatos Creek near the Snipe Islands. Good birding, Kathy Parker _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
