An adult BALD EAGLE was seen perched in a small oak at the southwest end of the reservoir. This may be a returning bird - returning to its favorite wintering lookout post. An adult Bald Eagle has used this same tree for a perch for the past several winters. At the upper end, some interesting geese were seen with the large flock of Canada Geese which arrived on the mudflats at mid-morning. Among the large throng of Canada Geese were six ROSS'S GEESE, two GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE, and two minima "CACKLING" CANADA GEESE. That's it for now, Ann Verdi _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
