Folks:

This morning, 11/28/2003, I covered some local spots.  At the Palo Alto 
estuary I worked through 600+ BONAPARTE'S GULLS without finding anything 
unusual.  There was a good variety of gulls here (seven species), including 
an adult MEW GULL.

HOODED MERGANSERS were back in the Palo Alto Municipal GC pond off Geng 
Road again with two males and two females.

I couldn't find the immature White-winged Scoter on Shoreline Lake nor 
anything else unusual.
