"There we were able to get several short glimpses of SWAMP SPARROWS as they 
alternately crawled among the weeds and made short fights to avoid runners, 
hikers and their dogs [most likely more than one SWSP but we never had two at the 
same time].  Several LINCOLN'S SPARROWS were in the same, fairly small area 
of matted down weeds."

Forgot to mention that in this same area we also had an AMERICAN PIPIT [on 
the path] and that a VIRGINIA RAIL gave us nice views as it dashed for cover.
