On Friday, Nov.14 Karen noted a tan-striped WHITE-THROATED SPARROW in our back yard feeding with the juncos and Golden-crowns. This bird was still present this morning; it would be a real treat to have it overwinter. I've been seeing large flocks of COMMON RAVENS flying southwest over my south Los Altos neighborhood several times in recent weeks. On Sunday Nov. 16 I counted 17 birds heading over Loyola Corners in the general direction of Rancho San Antonio and the nearby hills. ---Grant Hoyt _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
