We arrived to find the Marsh full of water and floating Gulls, a few of them Bonapart's. By the time we left the water was replaced by mud, the shorebirds, and 100, 300, 500 or so Bonapart's Gulls who were still flying in. The Blue-winged Teal male was seen in the north-east corner of the north pond in the flood control basin. The Cinnamin Teal was there too, and the Green-winged Teal were everywhere. About 6 plus Canvasback were in that pond as well Here is our trip list: Double-Crested Cormorant Mallard American Wigeon Northern Shovelor Blue-Winged Teal Cinnamon Teal Green-Winged Teal Canvasback Ruddy Duck American Coot American White Pelican Bonaparte's Gull Ring-Billed Gull California Gull Great Egret Black-Bellied Plover Black-Necked Stilt American Avocet Greater Yellowlegs Willet Whimbrel Long-Billed Curlew Marbled Godwit Western Sandpiper Least Sandpiper Short-Billed Dowitcher (?)
