View today, Pat Kenny and I went out to A1. There we saw a RUDDY DUCK with a nearly all white head. The head was white above what would normally be the lower extent of the white cheek patch except for a few random, isolated dark flecks, and in front of the eye, having more and more black closer to the bill on the fore-crown. The rest of the bird looked like its neighbors except for some irregular light, but not white, splotches on the sides and back: same tail, same white undertail patch, same ski-jump bill, same coloration.
