It had the concaved lower edge (breast area) of the slate gray hood; clean pink bill; no wing- bars (one can hope...), and only a faint hint of brownish on the back. This is a male, possibly a 1st winter. The lores were not significantly darker than the rest of the face. It doesn't look like a cismontanus because the lower margin of the gray on the breast and the very slight amount of brown. There were also a couple of sooty-type FOX SPARROWs, one with a nifty collar of white-tipped feathers.
