On Sunday, 2 Nov 03, I went to the Palo Alto Flood Control Basin. A RED PHALAROPE was on the small pond down the trail from the frontage road, adjacent to the wooden bench (it was gone about an hour later). A PRAIRIE FALCON came by, circling overhead for a minute before moving on towards the Baylands. Ducks on the North Pond included 2 male BLUE-WINGED TEAL, an eclipse male RING-NECKED DUCK, and a female REDHEAD.
