The "Water Treatment" ponds would not be included as they are part of the local Sewage Treatment Facility not the Water District. On several occasions while birding the ponds personnel in trucks have driven by or near us without comment, however, last Saturday we were stopped and cautioned to avoid the water. (Now, this would seem obvious to those of us who have birded areas such as the Sunnyvale Water Treatment Facility!) In all fairness there are no "No Trespassing" signs located between the creek dikes and the pond dikes while the areas around the treatment facility itself are fenced and posted. No Trespassing signs on the fence between Bloomfield Rd. and the creek dikes are concerned with vehicular traffic only and no attempt has been made to exclude pedestrian traffic (locals have been seen walking the dikes). Hope this helps. Take care, Bob Reiling, 9:37 AM, 5/26/03 _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
