Hamilton to San Antone Jct. and back. The only migrants for the day were a TOWNSEND'S WARBLER and three WILSON'S WARBLERS at Smiths Creek and an immature male WESTERN TANAGER in San Antonio Valley. The Townsend's and two of the Wilson's were imm. females, which seems typical for late May migrants. In San Antonio Valley, I saw two LEWIS'S WOODPECKERS about 200 m N of where the road turns north at the south end of the valley and a pair of LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCHES in the fiddlenecks behind the crew quarters at the CDF station at the junction. One or two GREEN HERONS were along Arroyo Bayo within a half mile of the Arnold Pond. Bill _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
