The day is in full swing, as I write, with great exhibitors such as SCVAS,
Wildlife Stewards and of course, SFBBO. This morning's bird walk turned up
American Goldfinches in the butterfly garden, Barn Owl pellets below the
box, Eared Grebes and courting Forster's Terns in A16, along with avocet
chicks. There were 3 Black Skimmers on the 3rd island, amidst the terns.
Also several Burrowing Owls right in New Chicago Marsh.
