Calliope Hummingbird records for his backyard in recent years. As far as I know this is the sum total of Calliope records for south San Jose. During spring migration I've looked high and low for that species in and around the Almaden Valley without any success! I have no doubt the indentifications have been correct, but I find it extremely unfair that they all go to his yard. Something should be done about this.
