Gorgeous adult red shouldered hawk gave us great views in the Haas center 
parking lot of Stanford today.

*Some* sort of activity in the Coop nest yesterday--lots of wing 
stretching.  Reminded me a great deal of the prefledging activities of 
young birds, but going by the dates (probable start of incubation March 
22-24th), I'm guessing it was an adult feeding or nest cleaning.  I'm very 
encouraged to see any signs of something new happening up there.  This 
nesting site drives me crazy but I know it's good for the birds, who have 
tons of privacy.
