While driving up to Ed Levin Pk today at 10AM, I had
a WESTERN KINGBIRD and a WILD TURKEY on the hillside north of Calaveras Blvd.
before the Ed Levin turnoff.

After that another hour spend looking for Long-Eared Owls to no avail. 

A quick walk up to the sycamore draw above Sandy Wool Lk. provided some compensation.
A GRASSHOPPER SPARROW was heard and then seen well on the hillside just past the gate
on the way to the draw.
