There are four Excel files. One set has 209 of the more common birds in both taxonomic and alphabetical order (Top 200). The second set has the full 384 birds that are followed by Bill Bousman for the county records. Again, this is in two files, one taxonomic and one alphabetical. The object is to print the taxonomic and alphabetical lists on two sides of a sheet of paper. The birds are numbered so that it is easy to transfer from the alphabetical list to the taxonomic list. Additional directions, and the links for downloading the files can be found on: South Bay Birders Unlimited (SBBU) http://www.stanford.edu/~kendric/birds/ CLICK ON: Information Archives/ Bird Check Lists World Wide/ Santa Clara County Bird Lists At some point, I may convert these files so that they can be used on a PDA. Let me know if there is any interest in this. There are other birding files for PDAs on my web site under "Information Archives". ----------------------------------------- Kendric C.
