Last night my truck threw its serpentine belt in front of the First
Presbyterian at Cuesta and Miramonte in Mountain View.  As we were standing
around waiting for a tow, a Barn Owl flew up on to the cross and perched
there, making its raspy screech.  It stayed for about 2 minutes, then flew
off, vocalizing as it went.  We didn't feel so unlucky after that.
