A GOLDEN EAGLE was hunting ground squirrels low over the field south of Salt Pond A2W, and a pair of BURROWING OWLS was at the mound north of the bike path across from the Shoreline Golf Course. Lots of SWALLOWS all over included at least BARN, CLIFF, and NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED. A female WESTERN BLUEBIRD foraging on the lawn in front of the 80'x120' wind tunnel inlet flew off with what appeared to be a juicy morsel of some sort (breeding already?).
