It made several low passes over the hill adjacent to the parking lot, and also hovered like a kite at one point. Several online references note the 'hovering' as an identification behaviour for this species. At Adobe Creek Trail, we also got very good looks of a BURROWING OWL. I also saw a single WHITE-THROATED SWIFT near Hwy. 237, at the Mathilda exit (this was on Friday).
