The bird was only about 30 meters from me and I got a good look at it for about a minute. Then it stopped singing and flew up and off, over the sewage ponds and into the distance. The White-tailed Kite nest there fledged young, and at least 6 young Kites and 2 adults have been seen at one time in the past week.
