All,

At 6:30 this morning while taking a neighborhood walk with my wife we spotted 
an adult male WOOD DUCK with two adult male MALLARDS on the front lawn of a 
house at the corner of Hanover Dr. and Glenmoor Way.  This is just west of John 
Muir Elementary School in west San Jose and just a few blocks from Calabazas 
Creek and even closer to a smaller connecting creek for which I can't recall 
or locate the name (the name is on one of the bridges we often pass).  All of 
three ducks looked alert and healthy.
