Hi SB Birders-

Today, June 5, at noon, 3 female Wild Turkeys with 16 chicks came down to 
drink at the Spring Valley Pond in Ed Levin Park in Milpitas. Also of note: the 
free parking area in Ed Levin Park on Calaveras Rd just east of the Spring 
Valley Entrance, and where Calaveras curves south and begins to climb, is now 
closed off (there is a side street here on the N side of Calaveras, I forget the 
name). Guess I'll have to get a yearly pass.
