Sanborn-Skyline CP at Indian Rock was fairly quiet, but I did hear one RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH. YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS were in fairly good numbers with a couple singing and more attracted to pishing. I heard a single HERMIT WARBLER, but never saw it. Two to three WESTERN TANAGERS were singing and appeared to be on breeding territories. I dropped through the temperature inversion between Sanborn-Skyline and Wrights Station Road and the temperature went from 70 to 58 F. At Los Gatos Creek I saw a PYGMY NUTHATCH, but otherwise found only the regular, common species. Bill _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
