I'm from Watsonville, so a visit to the Alviso area was my first trip.  I went on Monday morning July 21st. My goal bird was the Skimmers. I got em!  I also have pictures (like Mr. Grey) but the Skimmers didn't turn out to well at 10 am with the early morning heat waves. I'll have to try again.

I also got awesome pictures of the Burrowing Owl. One is particularly cute, I don't want to give away the reason, just see if you can find out why.

See the pictures in the free site I have them posted (sorry for the pop-ups in advance). With the magnitude of photos I'm producing I've got to get on the ball with my own website.

Thanks for all the great reporting guys!  Having great detail and descriptions of how to get to the out-of-town locations really helps find the spots better. I appreciate it.
