Apart from Juncos and Chickadees there wasn't much activity, but I did hear one Red-breasted Nuthatch, which called often over a 15-minute period, before apparently moving downhill. I also had 2 or 3 Yellow-rumped Warblers, including a nice look at an adult male. One note from this morning: I visited the Palo Alto FCB (from the frontage road) to see what water levels were like: too high in general for shorebirds, but I did see a group of 8 Greater Yellowlegs in flight (no plumage identification possible).
