Birders,

At 8:30 this morning, I saw a third year LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL near the
mouth of Stevens Creek in Mountain View.  Specifically, it was on the narrow
boardwalk between the high tension towers to the east of the trail about 100
yards before the mouth of Stevens CReek.  I watched the bird on and off for
about a half hour until it flew off at 9 am.  Other birds included the male
EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL which was in the channel just downstream from the
footbridge.  I was unable to find any unusual shorebirds out of the hordes
that gathered during the receding tide at the mouth of the creek.
